Drank at Creole bourbon drink at Esquire in San Antonio. Also had the bison burger medium rare which was fricking fantastic. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits.

Do you neti? My allergies kick my arse all the time. Dallas is one of the worst places in the country for allergies year round. The ragweed and pigweed this time of year are off the charts. I take a CVS brand allergy meds and neti and it helps. I still ain't right but it helps.

Never. I've been a little skittish about it. I need to just do it. Everyone I know that does it has high praise for it. I'm weird about water, that's why I don't shower so regularly. I can't even imagine it entering my body without the requisite amount of hops and malts. Weird.

Totally different. The real ale 18th wasn't as identifiable as a gose. Not as sour and salty as yours. It was more fruity with the lime addition and I picked up more phenolic flavors from the yeast. I enjoyed them both.

I'm reading this as "Not good, at least in comparison and predicated upon how well it exemplifies the style."

NDD Another bourbon.

If you're in BR, you can go to Baton Rouge Packaging & Shipping on Coursey. And they sell Styrofoam wine shippers. I've bought a single bottle shipper from them, as well as a 12 bottle shipper. I think they have other sizes.

The 12 bottle shipper came in real handy for my recent Hill Farmstead haul. It's the only way to send a high profile box.

My wife spit it out and lectured me about warning her before she tasted it. S14 has to be on the right track.
