Average expectancy is 8-10 years. for English Bull Dogs. Among the lowest of all dogs. Chihuahuas are the highest.

actually you are right, it's a breed that came about that I haven't heard of. I have seen big pits like that before, but we called them pits. I guess Bullies takes away the stigma of pitbull by applying another stigmatic name to them.

My bulldog died at three of a heatstroke while riding in my parents' car on the way to the vet. A/C was on full blast the whole time.

Ours had a litter at 17, and made it to 20.
I hated that thing. Worst yet is I gave the puppies to friends and they still have them, it's like even afer death my sisters horrid dog haunts me still.

Holy hell. I've had a moment or two where I let him play a little too long outside. Panted for an hour it seemed. He just runs and runs. He doesn't know what he is.

my friend had a big fat pitbull died similar. In a travel trailer with a/c died of heatstroke. Strangest thing. I guess it just happens.
I like muts. My dog is a mix of catahoula and pointer and she is perfect for me. After her time with me is done, I will go to the shelter again for another.
