I've said it before and I'll say it again, why the hell did they keep COREY WHITE and PATRICK ROBINSON over Champ Bailey, a future Hall of Famer who, while not quite the player he used to be, is still miles ahead of those two guys?

Champ hasn't been signed by anyone since leaving, despite try outs and injuries.

Because if he was miles ahead of those 2 guys, he'd be playing on SOMEONE's team. White and PRob aren't the only bad DBs in this league, let me tell you that much. Bailey is done and was injured when he was cut.

On another topic though, if we make the playoffs with say a 8-8 record, at best we would have the 21st overall pick (if we lose the first round).

Would you prefer that or not make the playoffs and have a top 15 pick?

Well, I guess you can call it wishful thinking on my part, that Champ still had some gas in the tank, but y'all make a good point, I'm sure the Saints would have kept him if there was any hope that he could produce at a high level. Still, the man had an impressive career, definitely in the Top 10 all-time greatest corner-backs.

Yes, if you mean being the best team in the worst division of football is "turning it around". One and done in the playoffs.
