The illegal block on Leilito. That was simply awful. The lions player was looking right at him. The lions player was trying to make a play on the ball carrier. There was nothing illegal about that block.

Top 3, I'd say the PI call that gave them a 1st on 4th was the worst.

I think the ref probably overreacted to the helmet on helmet contact on that call. Either way, if we had own that game, the lions would be having this exact same conversation and they'd be right too. Refs were a shite show in both directions, but they didn't give up a 73 yard touchdown, they didn't thrown an INT on our own 20, and they didn't go 1-12 on their last dozen pass attempts. We lost because we are a mediocre team that can't close out games. Look at our remaining schedule. Find me four more wins.

Thought the PI on Dixon was the worst. He touched the wr's arm, then feet got tangled up. There was a ref like two feet away staring directly at it. He saw what happened, but some other d-bag ref comes in from far away throwing a flag.

Then they threw another bad one after that on Bush, but thankfully decided it wasn't a penalty.

Also, the guy being offsides on the Brees int, and it not being called, was obviously huge.

Do you know anything about football? If so, you're either a Dallas, Atlanta or Detroit fan.

All the PI calls (or lack of) near the end went the Lions way. Refs wanted to get out alive I guess.

Even if you believe this, which is perfectly reasonable, to suggest there were no bad calls is ridiculous.

The 4th down interference call on Reggie Bush. The game would have been over At least three game changer bad calls went against the Saints.

My favourite was the touchback call that was changed after a discussion with Lion players. Because that is how I want my Officials to make calls (conferring with our opponent)

You don't like it when the officials get the call right?

Worst thing about the Reggie Bush penalty was that if he had caught it he would have been tackled short or the endzone

Worst was the mugging of Cadet on the 3rd down screen on drive that could have sealed game...settled for FG. Drew threw it in dirt bc he thought he would get the call. Fn BS

You mean when the ref DUCKED DOWN because the ball was going to hit him, it did hit him and he did not see the ball bounce over the pylon because he was looking at the ground? That play? Which is a touch back, and can be reviewed. That same ref was bad all day. Cadet getting his head ripped off the 3rd down play trying to run a screen before the last FG with a ref 5 feet away when Brees throws the ball at the ground. No Roughing the kicker call. That entire drive was a nightmare of bad officiating and the Saints still got a FG. PI on Bush was a bad call, PI should have been called twice on the last drive if the Bush call is PI. Yes, the Saints let this one get away. Some people can choose to say the refs didn't cause the team to lose and choose to be blind. The officiating in the NFL is terrible at its best.
No, I don't like it when the official get the call "right" when the call is wrong and the official didn't even see what happened.

Enough to know that the refs didn't cause the Saints to lose this game.

What in the hell are you babbling about...I don't care if the official was doing a handstand, the ball was spotted correctly and that's what matters.

They contributed, but we still should have won.

I don't think it's a 2 score game in the 4th if the refs do their job
