With Anderlecht going ahead early on their first shot on target or within 5 minutes of an Alexis Sanchez goal.
Atleast we have Welbeck and not Balotelli.
It can always be worse.

Ive lurked here for a while before I registered. Hell I still hardly ever post after registration. It can be an intimidating place.
Today I started the match day thread, but was waiting for someone to jump my shite because Im not a regular. Then I was like frick it, im 44.95 years old and what Im going to be intimidated by some words on a screen? So I when ahead and jumped in. And guess what no one jumped my shite.
Yes Im a Liverpool fan, and probably be called a bandwagoner because I haven't been a season ticket holder in the kop since the 70's but frick it. I don't care. I like who I like and frick you if you don't like it.
Yeah there are some real pieces of shite regulars here. And the lack of a moderator to reign in the shite heads really takes something from this board imo. But it is what it is. So to you lurkers come on out and play. I will try to do my part.

I thought I was the elder statesman of the LFC faithful, but I'll gladly relinquish that title...
This season has been tough so far... Damn, I miss Luis! I am looking more forward to watching him with Barca next weekend than our match... only because we are so hard to watch...

Nothing wrong with keeping the love. I am practically a Real Madrid supporter since Bale left.

Well, I have always kinda liked watching Barcelona play and i absolutely love watching Luis play... I was always going to root for him as long as he didn't go to another EPL team... I hate Real Madrid, but MAY have even rooted for him there...
He deserves to play with some of the best talent on the planet!
That said, still love the reds more... but we need Studge back in the worse way.. until then, I think we will struggle...

Unfortunately some of us just can't really add that much. I can converse about Everton, USMNT, the prem in general, and some happenings in the CL/Europa, but it'll probably be years before I have some of the background that some of yall do.
I played my entire youth, but it's still a huge undertaking to become as well versed in international soccer as a domestic league, as it hasn't always been easily available and/or a lot of posters are probably just now making it a focus.

This board has more posters who I really like than almost every other one I ever read combined.
I check it regularly and even look over the club specific season threads but I really don't watch all that many EPL matches and so don't usually have that much to add.
Seems the board lost a few posters over the past year or two who followed various leagues across Europe a bit more. Maybe it has to do with EPL to NBC and La Liga/Serie A to BeIN but there's less European (even non EPL CL clubs) discussion from what it was for the 2 or 3 years after the 2010 WC.
Maybe it's just that there are too many of us who, like me with EPL, have cut back a bit on watching "everything" and watch mainly a single club since all the matches are on TV.

The three biggest fanbases on here are Arsenal, Pool, and Spurs. All three aren't great this year, so the "casuals" stay away from the board and the regulars keep most of their posts to the season long threads.
