Anyone else sometimes wish they weren't a sports fan?

Couldn't imagine it. But I would save tons of money and be free of grief and many hangovers.

I would never has known the joy of SB 44

I do wish rantards would stay on the Rant instead of coming over here and saying we're done now, we'll fall completely out of the coaches' poll

It's times like this that make when the Saints win an enjoyable weekend

All the time. It negatively affects me. My wife's family does stuff every weekend and I never want to partake being there's football on. They could not care less about sports and I wish at times I was the same way.

If you let a game ruin your weekend, then you're an idiot. Unless they're paying u

Getting paid makes them care less

It's all a matter of perspective. I used to let losses get to me, it would ruin my week. Now, I'm upset for a few minutes then over it. I think that 09 season more than makes up for anything else, best time of my life.

Absolutely. I recently had this thought when I watched pure luck play a huge part in my St Louis Cardinals being knocked out the playoffs. It was like, what's the point if luck can be this big of a factor?

Luckily, when it comes to the Saints, I decided after the Atlanta game that I was just gonna roll with whatever this season, good or bad. Glad I made that decision with how this season is going. It doesn't suck as much watching them lose.

I think there are a lot of players getting paid who don't care whether they win or lose. No one ever shows up late for the pay check.
