If you were serving a 15 year prison sentence and found a way to escape

Would you go through with escaping, and face more years if caught? Or would you rather serve out just the 15 years?

How many years have I been in when I find the escape?
And what does the escape entail?

No usually you can get out in 7-9 years
Aggravated escape adds on 5-10 years

I remember reading somewhere that in Mexico, it doesn't add to your sentence if you want to escape because, that's in every man's nature if confronted with the same dilemma.

If I had a viable exit strategy to get out of the country to an island where I could live out my days with sufficient funding.

why would I want to escape? three meals a day, tv, weights, roof over my head, free arse poundings daily,....

If they would keep the A/C at 72 instead of 53, it would be much more enjoyable. Evidently Angola is the only place that understands this

It does get fricking cold in there.

It keeps them from acting up as much. I do the same thing with the students I teach. Its amazing how a few degrees can change their behavior drastically.

I don't know but it is torture
And then they don't have enough mats for beds so you have people sleeping on the hard floor with no blankets even in population. You have to buy blankets and it is literally 60 degrees in there all the time

How long then?

I've always said if I ever went to jail for a prolonged period of time I'm spending every waking hour trying to break out. Being confined is my biggest fear.

Depends, is my baby momma seeing someone new?

If I am staring at a fifteen year sentence, I am going on the lam while out on bail.

This. Take a closed loop cruise, as they won't require a passport (which will be flagged) to go on.
hop off in central america and don't get back on.

Two high school buds of mine had that choice. Both sent to federal prison in 1977. One guy figured how to bust out in 1980 and offered the other guy a ride. The dude said no thanks. So the one guy sprung, and was free from Jan. 1980 till August 1981. They locked him up until 2003. The guy who stayed behind served out his sentence and was released in 1998.
So, 1.5 years of freedom cost the one guy 5 extra years on his sentence.
