I sure hope this happens. I have my Voodoo pass and, since I'm a certified OT Poor, I'm preparing to scrounge for tickets to the following show...

Don't you play a USA Custom kit or am I thinking of someone else?

I play a DW Collectors kit...but it's a '96. I wouldn't mind having a USA Custom, though...

this song features a punk band, Bad Brains. So I'll be interested to see if they stick with the punk stuff in this episode

Have to... its the ultimate hardcore record.. I'm sure discord scene will be heavily featured... Grohl came out of all that...

I imagine they have to touch on Go-Go... its a huge part of the city's black culture..

Finally watched the DC one, which I was really looking forward to (loved that he gave some screen time to his old bandmates in Scream). I flipped out when Skip showed up on my TV. I started yelling at Mrs. Baloo, "That's the guy who got me into Fugazi!" He was the evangelist of the scene. He got more kids into DC punk than almost anyone on the planet. Yesterday and Today was a place you walked in knowing nothing, and walked out with the Dischord back catalog. Alos, loved that they gave so much screen time to Positive Force, which really is a big deal to the DC scene. It was a political movement.

My wife did ask "Where's HR? Is he dead?" because they kept referring to him and never had him on screen. "

"No, honey. He's alive. He's just an a-hole."

Did Ian agree to be in it? I'm behind and still on the first one.

Of course. They are friends. Ian's in a LOT. You can't do a doc on the DC music scene without Ian MacKaye. And he's usually pretty good about that kind of thing.
