The remote is shite and it has a difficult time staying synced with other remotes. Just my experience.

I have the 60 inch model. I'm just letting you know my experiences with it .

The picture is good and hooked to a sound bar it's a nice set up for the money. The remote is a constant source of annoyance to me.

I plan on using it outside on my patio when I move into my hopefully soon to be constructed home. Your mileage may vary.

I have a 55" M series that I've enjoyed. It doesn't have a good a quality picture as my Sony, but you get way more bang for your buck than Sony/Samsung the bigger the size.

I bought a 40" Vizio for my bedroom about eight years ago. Still going strong. No problems. I'm sure it is somehow technically inferior but I can't tell the difference really between it and my high dollar Samsung in the den.

I recently bought my first Vizio, but it's the E series an it has the best picture I have ever had on a TV. That includes a five year old Samsung plasma it replaced.

The E series has very good reviews, much better than the M series.

We have a 55 inch Vizio LED that we bought in January. It is our primary TV, and the picture is great. I do think the right speaker is having an issue though. It works, but sound quality isn't that great.

Not sure if it is worth trying to get it looked at (still under warranty) or if it will be easier to buy a soundbar and go with it.

This is interesting, since the E series gets a lot of shite in online in reviews.

Bought a Vizio in 2009 for the bedroom and still using it. The picture quality is still great and I wouldn't hesitate buying another.

Thought the E series was the lower of the vizio class?

Couple of years ago the E series had screen problems. I worked for a delivery company and we literally were replacing 30-50 E series a week in the North Alabama area at one point in the fall/winter of 2012. The screens were burning out, and it wasn't hit or miss, it was every single TV. They have fixed the issues but I'm not sure the E series reputation has recovered yet.

I have the 70" M series and love it. Also have the 60". Research on CNET if it will make you feel better but it is a very good TV for around $2K.

There are better TVs, but at the Vizio price you're getting a great TV. I can't vouch for the E series so I would stay with the M series.

Costco has a great plan. 2 years you can return it for ANY reason. An additional 3 years was not much more than $100. Their warranty is worth a one year membership fee.

This is the cnet review that I read before buying my TV. The picture on my new 55" is better than the picture I had on a 5+ year old Samsung Plasma that it replaced.
