why do all the fishing ports in Alaska look trashy as hell? I bet they stink too. Quite a contrast to the rest of the state.

I saw a show on BBC about how Bald Eagles are a nuisance in Alaska but you can't do anything about it.

Florida and San Diego. Been to marinas/ports/docks in both places and found them well kept & clean. They didn't even smell fishy. Alaskan ports appear nasty. Like Venice (La.).
