There's a massive difference between an American rugby 7's player and Hayne.

I always wondered what Ronaldo (Brazil) would have been like as a RB.

He looks very impressive in the highlight video that I watched although I think that the level of athleticism of the competition in the videos is closer to my level of athleticism than it is to NFL players.

Right. Hayne was NRL player of the year this season. His accomplishments far out weigh Ilses's.

No doubt the guy looks talented, but I agree that most of the guys standing around looking to tackle him are doing their best DJ Welter impersonations.

Then again, I have no idea what the rules of that sport are, so maybe they're obligated to stand flat footed and try and arm tackle guys as they run past them.

Probably terrible. I don't think many soccer players would do well in football

True. Soccer = slow twitch. Football = fast twitch.

However, I think if Brazilian ronaldo trained for football he could have been a really good RB. He was strong and powerful, but quick and light footed, and had the frame to pack on some mass. He was always kinda built for a soccer player (before he got fat).

Soccer is definitely more fast twitch than slow twitch. Even though you must have great stamina and endurance

I meant if he grew up playing it. He was built like a truck and was agile as hell.

Its in large part endurance based, mixed with explosive bursts. Football is exclusively explosive bursts. They are definitley different types of athletes.
