I am 2-4 and can not wait for Jimmy to come back. My line up is:
QB- Brady and Kaep
RBs- Dougie Fresh, FJax, Oliver, Pierce,Ridley (out)
WRs- Andre Johnson, VJax, Fitz, J Matthews, Nicks
TE- Graham and Heath (try to pick up reed on waiver)
Novak and San Fran

12 Team. Standard scoring no PPR. 2 rb's, 2 Wr's, and 1 Flex

I would give up Graham and FJax for Vernon, Steve Smith and Sankey.

I think I might pull the trigger on this because I need to win now, but I am not sure since FJax has been a staple for me so far.

Don't do it. Pick up reed.

Eta - who was your 3rd round pick?

Andre Johnson at 32. Pretty bad with 20/20 hindsight, but hopefully he turns it on.

Not a fan at all. I don't trust Vernon Davis. Get a lot safer of a tight end in return and like Greg Olsen or Martellus Bennett and a solid rb or wr to go with it.

I like Vernon. Had him last year and looked pretty good and a main target for Kaep last night.

I looked into that. Martellus is owned by someone with not enough pieces and in last place. He won't go for it. Olsen is owned by an owner who expects too much for his players. We will call him Happ. So Happ would probably offer me Olsen for Graham straight up and think it is a good trade for both teams.

If Bennett is out, then try Graham for Olsen and another good he plays he has. Can't hurt to try, but if Jordan Reed is available, then just roll with him if you claim him.

I would think you could get Olsen + top 10/15 rb or wr

Wasn't even paying attention to who was posting this till I read

and I was like no fricking way they just talked about Happ.

Ha the Olsen owner just actually contacted me. He has DT88, Bush, Ellington, Forte (just acquired), and Ingram. I personally don't think Ellington and Olsen is enough.

Maybe I should not give advice since I know both parties.

I am sure I know the other owner as well (Vernon Davis team).

Your call, but I prefer Olsen over Vernon Davis. Fred Jackson is probably a little better than Sankey, but that could change. I like Ellington the best of the three running backs.

It basically depends on if you like the Vernon/Steve Smith combo better or the Olsen/Ellington. Also, Vernon has a bye in week 8 (probably still a must win) while Olsen has a week 12 bye. Steve Smith week 11 bye and Ellington's bye has passed. Sankey and Jackson both have a week 9 bye (they are basically a wash in your Vernon trade).

Yeah you do. Never been high on Ellington. I think he is overrated and fragile with one good game. I'm thinking of making it a blockbuster and try to get DT88 by adding Andre Johnson to the trade. I don't think he will give up Forte for anyone.

Fair enough. Again, if you can get Jordan Reed, then get him. Maybe Graham comes soon or you can survive this week.

Neither would I. You said he just got him anyway. Forte is my top player right now.

Shefty supposedly said that he has a good chance to play this week.

That is contrary to every report, but he's played through injuries before

I know I would give a lot more than that to the Jimmy owner in my league but he is 5-2 and I am 4-2.
What does RBs and WRs on the top couple teams look like?
