There are lots of theories about dog names - some think you need 2 syllables:

Rocky (or Rocko)

Ali

Brutus

Or, simple, punchy, 1 syllable names:

Bane

Duke

Max

Murph

You are feeding him puppy food? If you think he is feeling alright you can always add a little wet food to help - 15lbs at 4 months doesn't seem out of line though

He's wormed and everything. He eats the food just fine but dosent seem to be putting on the weight that Im assuming he should be at. Everywhere I look, people say their boxers at 4 months were between 25-30 pounds. HE dosent run a whole lot but is constantly messing with my other dog. I'm a new puppy owner so I have a lot of uncertainties with him. I have recently been putting a scrambled egg in his food every other day for the extra protein to try and beef him up

im not a fan of science diet... not that it should matte with weight gain... just thinks its fake. But as long as your dog is eating, and isnt acting weird... or have the squirts or puking then your good

If he is eating good and looks and acts healthy he could just be smaller - I am sure like other breeds there weights can vary pretty good - our GSP is small compared to the others her vet sees.

When our GSP was a puppy she was on Purina Pro Plan chicken and rice shredded blend - she is 11mnths and I just made the switch to adult formula - at 4months I think she was eating 4cups a day - a couple times a week I would mix it with some wet food.

Are you absolutely sure he's 4 months? Could just be a runt...it happens.

Maybe he just isn't going to be as big as you thought?

Boxers aren't very big dogs, typically.

My pointer was tall and skinny up until he was 9 month or so. He was full of energy and you could count his ribs on the rare occurrence when he would stand still. I asked the breeder, a buddy who had one and the vet if it was normal and what I could do to fix it. They said he looked healthy he was just growing. Kept feeding him the recommended amount and he filled in. He's close to 60# at a year and a half now.
