He's a Westernized/secular/lapsed Muslim. It's patently obvious to me. It is to a lot of people.

I've got no issue saying that given the current state of affairs, I would be uncomfortable electing a Muslim to the presidency.
That being said, I suspect Obama has very little if any religious leanings and any he flaunts are for show.

Clinton wasn't particularly religious either, though I'm sure he believes in God in some sense.
Oddly enough, the most religious president of the last 50+ years is easily Jimmy Carter.
