how do you get into dove hunting?

Went dove hunting one time. Didn't kill squat. Don't care to go back.

Not entirely true. You have to have a gun, ammo, and beer. A field that contains doves is preferred over one that doesn't.

I've been toting two dogs this year. It's worked great. Only have to get out my chair to pee.

Face paint is required in most dove hunting situations.

And I should have been more specific when I said find a field

A population of birds is aways helpful when hunting said birds.

you'd be surprised how many doves are on the beaches along the coast. I know I could have easily shot a limit on the edge of the marsh below Empire one day
