We dont win the game if he doesnt hustle down there to push the Florida player out of bounds. Unless Ant ends up leading us on another Arkansas type drive.

Great play.

But in the last three big games(Wisc, MSU, Auburn) he has been missing tackles, blowing coverage, getting shook....etc. he even struggled a little at Florida.

Lets not crown him with the game winning play. How about Fournette dominating the ground with the help of the O-line. Or the fact the Florida turned the ball over three times.

Both play with the skill level of a novice. The difference between the two is one is bigger and actually is a novice.

I really liked the speed and physicality of the youngsters on defense this past weekend. Beckwith, Jefferson, Adams, and Godcheaux are just nasty.

Martin has actually been much improved this year and been a solid player.

And I don't think Adams moves ahead of him in depth chart... For some reason we have been using a rotation at the safety spot. It's Martin + Mills and Adams + Ricky Jefferson.

Everyone sees a lot of PT though. But I've noticed the rotation we've been using at the safety spots a few games ago. Not sure why.... I mean obviously we wanna get the young guys some legit PT, but you would think it would be a vet + youngster instead of vet + vet and youngster + youngster.

But yea Adams is our best safety right now. Glad to see Jefferson have a bounce back game vs UF because he struggled vs Auburn. And, despite what people say on this board, Martin has played pretty good this year. A lot of people can't / wont change their perception on him because of last year, where he def struggled. But he's a lot better. IMO, Mills has been very blah lately. I would love to have Adams + Martin out there a lot.

Prescott and Marshall both embarrassed the hell out of him. There is a reason he's splitting time with a freshman.

Who wasn't embarassed in those 2 games?

Oh and Martin was our only DB that actually made some plays vs Auburn.

And yea the reason hes splitting time with a freshman is because this freshman is fricking awesome.

I never said Martin has been great, I said he's been much improved and a solid player. Which he has been. He's been a decent player for us

Ronald Martin no need to get so angry, I'm just one guy with a inconsequential opinion.

I'm sure your season will turn around, doesn't look like the best teams in the conference are left on the schedule.

I agree KG, Ronald is having a solid year, probably his best as a Tiger. Yes Adams will be a better player, but Ronald has come back from losing his dad and being injured. For some reason you would think he is Welter or Louis on this board.

They embarrassed the whole defense. He's the last line of defense so he gets the whole blame, while plenty of others players were gashed.

Lots of dumbasses on here were writing some vile shite after the long Jameon Lewis TD in the the 3rd quarter. Yet they completely overlook the fact that Martin was left alone to cover two receivers and the best dual threat QB in the nation all by himself. Three great athletes who could all take the ball and only one defender. Lewis beat the whole defense with a 71 yard pass. Martin got all the blame, even though he had three guys to cover
