I'm ready to upgrade and I'm debating on getting the 6+ but I'm curious, for those who moved from a 5/4S, was it a big transition to the larger screen? Did it become a "two-hand" phone like some people have said and if so, was it that much of a change in how you operate?

I'm leaning towards the 6+ but I use my 5 one-handed. I don't have huge hands but they are probably larger than most.

Hell I still haven't adjusted to the 6. Loss of "Death Grip" is killing me ...bigger screen is nice and all cause my eyes are getting bad but comes at a heavy price. IMO. I constantly feel like I'm about to drop the damn thing. Consequentially I have to type and access it significantly slower cause I constantly have to adjust my grip. With the old form factor I could do everything with my thumb.

After spending a week with the iPhone 6, I've discovered that pocket space isn't my issue — loss of control is.

You see, the iPhone 6 is a wonderful two-handed phone. It's light and thin and feels great. The screen is gorgeous. Typing is also much easier — as long as I have two hands free, of course.

But holding and controlling the iPhone 6 with one hand is both frustrating and precarious.

Having used an iPhone since 2007, I've become accustomed to holding my handset with a sort of "death grip." I've never used a protective case on my iPhone. I didn't drop my iPhone, and never cracked a screen, because I could securely grip it.

The iPhone 5s "death grip," safe and secure without a case.

But gripping the iPhone 6 with one hand results in loss of control. And that loss of control means it may not be for everyone.

I have to cradle it, can't grip it...

I'm actually thinking switching to the Plus. If I have to go two handed it puts a fablet in the mix.

I "cradle" my 4S...Just looking at the way the guy "death grips" it i just tried that and didnt have free enough access to text quickly or anything with my thumb.

Im assuming its all just getting used to it. I plan on upgrading to 6+

I have the 6 but I have used the bigger galaxy phones and found I prefer the one handed use of smaller phones compared to a huge screen. I find the 6 to be a good size it'd be nice if they cut some of the bezel down and used it for screen space but I like it.

I have pretty huge hands, and the 6+ is a paradigm shift. It has taken some getting used to, and will take more getting used to.

I wouldn't change, though. Once the OtterBox Defender comes out, I'll use it a bit more. I have a pretty sturdy case now, but it's not a Otter Box.

What I don't get is theyre offering in 40 more countries next week. How bout you fulfill the open orders you have now instead of giving habib his phone.

Played with one a few days ago...The bezels on that thing are huge...I'm surprised that Apple couldn't do a better job at reducing them...My LG G3 has the same size screen (5.5"), but the 6+ measures almost a 1/2" taller.

Did you order early on Day 1?

That and your specific model seems to be the only indicator of when the device will ship.

From what I've heard the 64GB Space Gray could be the slowest device to ship.

I have the 6+ since launch and I haven't got used to the size yet. I didn't even want to hold it before I got a case because I felt like I was going to drop it. The case made day to day use easier. I recommend the 6 to people if they ask between the two. You will not be able to use the 6+ as a one handed device with any resemblance of the 4-5s.

It only took a few hours to get used to it.

I use it with one hand.

I could never go back.

I gave it some thought but I picked up a 5 last night and I was instantly in heaven. Death gripped and one thumbing a way.

I'm going to the Apple store for lunch and moving down to a 5S. I'm giving my daughter my 6.

Hopefully enough people have the same issue Apple comes out with a 3rd model, back close to the 5 form factor. Otherwise in a few years I'm SOL and have NO idea what I'm gonna do.
