Good one. Never understood the accolades he receives.

I think thinking Radiohead sucks has become so hip and is even more of a mainstream opinion than liking them, making liking Radiohead become the contrarian view on them
yeah because if the majority think it is stupid than it must actually be good

Mostly true. Almost always true the other way around: if the majority think it's good, it isn't.

Well judging by the general intelligence level of the unwashed masses in America, yea, pretty much

Arcade Fire:

Their last album definitely didn't do it for me. I've been a big fan of everything else.

JT:

Like quite a bit of his music, but like him as a star/person just as much.

Wilco:

Come on man. Put on Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on a Sunday morning after a night of hard drinking. Make a pot of coffee and just chill out. It's the best.

The Knife:

I'm indifferent, but I realize they're "good." I'm not putting them on heavy rotation, though.

Burial:

I wasn't that familiar with him until that last EP, and I've got to admit that I listened to it a LOT. That's a solid 30 minutes of interesting music, to me.

Beach House:

Loved the first album. The second was okay.

Bon Iver: Agree. Liked okay at first. Then got old quic,.

The National: Agree.

Odelay is a fricking fantastic album.

I'll throw out the Yeah Yeah Yeah's. They typically have 1-3 songs on an album that are great, but outside of that it's either MEH or shite for me.

And LOL at anyone that says Radiohead.

They have some wonderfully intricate music if you really give them a listen. And Berninger's lyrics cut right to the heart. I was off-put by his voice when I first listened to them years ago, but I've grown to really love them.

The whole grunge movement is pretty cheezy. Nirvana is okay.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the genre myself. I like the Nirvana mainstays and an album or two of Peal Jam. But one can appreciate the importance of the movement in its historical context I think.

Bon iver frickingg sucks. Really bad live show. Beach bouse is all right but i doubt anyone here is jaded or indie enough to like that kindof shite. Grizzly bear is 20x better
