I think the poll is about to screw the MVC and the committee uses the poll heavily.

How else can you justify only 2 teams last year?

New Hampshire had no business jumping Coastal even though they beat Bill and Mary

That is my concern as well, that and historically the committee doesn't place much value on SOS. It is hard to get a lot of teams with flashy records in the MVC, it isn't like some conferences that have a very weak bottom. It is a battle every week, a few teams are playing for their playoff lives this week.

I do agree about UNH, they haven't really done anything impressive. They also miss Nova in the CAA so they could just cruise to a high seed. .

Our D is good. It is the offense I am worried about.

I'm glad Kleiman kept this thing going

I have known him since he played at UNI

He was our DB coach at SMS for a year also. Wasn't as good as Kolling but pretty damn good.

I'm not sure how people continuously look past the MVFC. I'm honestly surprised ISU cracked the top 10. Usually much harder for teams not on the east coast and not named Montana to climb.

I wish ISU played NDSU this year. Hopefully for a championship!

ISUs schedule is ridiculous this year. Opening up with 4 home games including 2 cupcakes, no FBS teams, no NDST.

Not entirely their fault. They were suppose to host Ball State. Ball State backed out late. Only could get Mississippi Valley State to fill that slot.

I was real nervous for SDSU. Then real nervous for the first road game at ISUb. Met every challenge so far.

He has done a great job, was really happy when he took the job. I kind of thought of him as Bohl's successor when he decided to leave UNI to come here.

I think the best thing for the MVC

NDSU vs a MVC normal game
CAA vs MVC in a close game

And NDSU V CAA in a blowout final

Texas tech is known for the defense. Lol no. They are in bottom of D1a in defense. Just looked it up. Ranked 112 out of 125 in total defense. Haha what a joke Like I said. They havent seen a D like SLU.

Pretty good article details the best games. I like the SLC trying to get things right, when we played them they seemed to always hose us on calls, but not as bad as OVC officials.

If SIU manages to win their first round game in that playoff scenario their reward is a game against the Bison. Sheesh. I better hope my Salukis start climbing up the rankings.

Serves the Salukis right. I spent many a day at McAndrew getting my eyes burned up because our sideline was the east side.

Also that bracket projection has the MVC and SLC on one side, its trying to water the field down, IMO.

ISU comes back from down 24-6 at the half to win 37-34 against WIU. Dominated the 4th 24-7 for an epic comeback. Nick Ausseiker with the game winning field goal for the 2nd straight week.

Best start at 6-0 since 1967. Go Redbirds!
