Things we learned from the Cowboys - Seahawks game

- Russell Wilson is no Aaron Rodgers when it comes to 4th quarter winning TD drives
- Russell Wilson lost only his 2nd game at home as a pro. This stat means nothing. Even Matty Ice had a similarly enviable home record his first couple of seasons.
- Russell Wilson is overrated
- Tony Romo is underrated
- Richard Sherman is a more a loud mouth than a shutdown corner in the mold of Champ Bailey
- The Cowboys may be one of the best teams in the NFC, if not the best
- The Seahawks aren't as invincible as they seem. If you put your head down and play as best as you can, you can beat them, even in Seattle. Brees can learn something from Romo in terms of exuding confidence when playing the Seahawks in Seattle. Remember that rain game and Brees with the stupid glove on his throwing hand - you could see the fear in his eyes. No way were the Saints winning that day.
- Game was a reminder and a blueprint for the rest of the teams on how to beat the Seahawks - have a strong running game, don't be afraid to throw towards Sherman, make Russell Wilson win the game with his arm

Bevell doesn't have a clue how to use Percy Harvin. I dont get why the only throw him screens.

Add that Saints fans are still Seattle-sessed to the list.

because one saints fan started a thread?

Oh look, a Saints fan making a Seahawks thread. Now that's something you don't see everyday

You forgetting that "Russell Wilson is a game manager thread" already eh?

Tony Romo = elite
Y'all mad.
Y'all mad.
Posted on 10/12/14 at 7:21 pm to boXerrumble
so starting a thread making fun of a guy from last week means I'm obsessed.

Tony Romo is underrated
He will almost surely retire as the most underrated player since probably Dan Fouts and maybe ever. For as much shite as he gets, every Cowboys team since 2009 was a 4-6 win team without him.

You started this today baw.

also considering ESPN had many segments this week debating Russell as best QB in NFL I think it was a worthy thread that plenty of boards referenced
Posted on 10/12/14 at 7:23 pm to boXerrumble
I know that, idiot. the thread was making fun of a thread someone started last week.

I thought this has been established. Playing one side of the field in a system does not = best in the league

Should take a look back at this game sometime in January?
It'll be just 1 game in October. There's no blueprint nor anything to make such predictive statements.

Most NFL teams simply aren't built for this anymore.
But I think that's changing.

He's been good lately and the Cowboys are (unfortunately) legit. But let's see him not frick up a playoff game when it matters most before we crown him
