we will still suffer some tough patches and will lose some more games but we are on the rise.

our offense needs to continue to improve on execution and our Dline needs to continue to improve on it's run D.

I saw a lot of good things last night that give me optimism for the future. esp if we can field a decent OL next year.

No. It will get worse before it gets better. Florida could be the worst conference team we play.

got the same feeling watching that game last night. Even if we would have lost, I still saw a lot of good things going on with the team. Felt like a turning point for the program after a woefull start to the season.

I don't know about that, Fl beat Kentucky, but the point being that the team is getting better. I think this is correct

Based on what we saw yesterday, I don't see why we can't finish with 9 wins. We improved in the game and throughout the game, and we'll improve more in practice.

We have Alabama and Ole Miss left as solid teams. We can win one of those, and Arkansas, Kentucky and Texas A&M are all winnable.

I agree. I think that LSU will be able to run the ball next week vs Kentucky. South Carolina's Mike Davis almost had 200 yards against them.

Defense will have to stop with that offense.

Overall, I saw moments of great play.

Thing about sports and highs and lows is that they're often transitory.

Other than that the left side of line led by a senior who won't be there next year.

Qb play was terrible and so was the play calling

there is no reason to think it will change

Especially since LSU won fortifying all of CLMs decisions .
Even though Florida likely would have won if not for a drop in the end zone.
Also Florida will likely fire Mushcamp because they are a dumpster fire whom LSU should not have beat.

The O line played one hell of a game last night. For LSU to do nothing but I formation and still get a good run game going was impressive.

We'll be okay. Not the best season ever but, good enough to make a run next year.

nice optimistic post GrandDad- we will know a lot more next week.

IF we win next with and it is not as sloppy as Florida win - the you are spot on

If we lose- then it will be a season to forget

If we win slopplily again then who knows what is going on with our team?

Fans seem to be as up and down as this team. We lose and the program is coming to an end. Win, and we've bottomed out, turned the corner, etc.

I think it's somewhere in between. We played better in spots and got a much needed win. But watching our offense gives me flashbacks of the Lee/Jefferson days when the forward pass was a novelty and had to rely heavily on the run.

I just hope one of these QBs mature into a quality QB so we don't have to go back to those agonizing days.

Blah blah blah.

A win in the swamp is a good win. It doesn't mean we are back or anything, but a win there is not something to dismiss. Hell, in 2004 we barely squeeked out a win there against a Florida team that fired their coach that year.

Before the game there were people saying that we weren't good enough to win, now that we won it's, well Florida sucks. It's always something.

Why do people say this? Is it just blind hatred for Miles?

Either blind hatred or they just really wish they could have a coach with accomplishments and big championship game moments like sumlin or Malzahn or freeze or merlins

We also beat florida in the swamp on sat night with our back to the wall late in that game. We will beat kentucky. And i think we will be good enough to pull off an upset maybe 2 after that if we keep improving like did from last week. The team last night would have lost to auburn but we wouldnt have gotten destroyed like we did last week. Some adjustments have been made and we are better for it.

There is no way we look worse than losing 41-7 to Auburn. That was the wakeup call. We had one against UF in 2012, we had one against Auburn in 2010.

Not really, go back and look how many times LF had to bounce way outside because there was just nowhere to go. Fournette did most of that on his own.

UF TE dropped the winning TD pass. We were very lucky to win, but we did show a lot of improvement, particularly on the LOS. Kwon and Adams both played extremely well. QB play still has a long way to go and now special teams are an issue.
