Considering purchasing a home stereo with a turntable. Basically starting from scratch. Just looking for recommendations on a receiver, speakers and a turntable. Any suggestions? I'm on a reasonable budget and don't want to break the bank.

Don't think I'm looking to spend that much.

My only 2 cents is I purchased this Uturn Audio Turntable. and really like it. It has great reviews, and is one probably the best turntable at this entry price point.

Wow, I like that Uturn.

OP, you really need to state a budget.

The Uturn and some used Klipsch Forte, Chorus or Cornwalls would get you off to a smashing start.

For the stuff in between perhaps Emotiva. You don't need much power to drive Klipsch or similar, so you'll save on amplification.

That would be a nice setup...you would need a phono stage to . I think Peachtree makes a decent on .

Check out audioadvisor.com; they have really nice stuff and great customer service. NAD and Cambridge Audio are good entry level mid-fi.
