Welcome to the twice a month TUba OP on AGW! (Something denialists claim to happen everyday in spite of objective evidence to the contrary)

quote:

Oceans in the Southern Hemisphere, which make up 60 percent of the world's oceans, are warming far worse thoan previously thought, according to a new study.

We just need to tax and regulate a few hundred factories here in America to stop this.

Why? It does't exist, remember?

You righties need to seriously fricking make up your minds. You can't simultaneously promote the lines "It doesn't exist" and "we can't do anything to stop it". That's just fricking stupid, but its exactly the denialist stance, isn't it?

Why do you hate science? Most scientists agree that our ability to counteract the harmful effects of CO2 in the air has passed.

Tuba, I read tha article which states NO data. I also read the second one linked that says "see results here", and it's an article talking about the data since the 1970s LIKELY being low.

So you're gonna hang your hat on likely? My first thought when reading the OP was "why didn't he post the temp change amount?". Now I know why, cause there is no mention of it!

The larger, clearer scientific facts that this shows is.....you're still sumb

This underestimation is a result of poor sampling prior to the last decade and limitations of the analysis methods that conservatively estimated temperature changes in data-sparse regions," LLNL oceanographer Paul Durack, the study's lead author, said in a statement.

So what you are saying the all knowing scientists freaked up but cap and tax will fix that?

A weather event in a localized region is not basis for / against global warming? Or so people are told when they talk about how cold it is in the US

Yep. Another failure by Tuba. Not unexpected from a "scientist" or whatever he claims to be.

Him and Rex should start a company. Rex could handle the money and Tuba could handle the propaganda. They both could make millions (and feel HORRIBLE about it) by selling false data to the government.

Would be glorious, eh?
