Brand new iphone 6 won't turn on/charge

Just got my iPhone 6 in the mail this afternoon. Opened the box and plugged it in...been charging for over 2 hours but it won't get past initial charge prompt and won't power on. Tried the new wall charger, my old wall charger and my USB. Can't figure out what's wrong.
Did I get a dud? Anyone else have this problem?

You have to bend it a little bit first to activate it

What is a "charge prompt" on an out of the box iPhone?
What do you mean by this?
I've set up a dozen or two iPhones in my day out of the box and have no idea what you mean by a "charge prompt."

Did you try holding the power and home buttons down at the same time long enough to force a restart?

Probably got a bad charger. My new charger only worked when I plugbed it into a wall outlet.
