you do a shitload of highway correct?

Also, question, when ordering tires online... how much do you normally have to pay a place to install and all? And will they give you free tire rotations etc. ?

That was my experience with them. Someone else on the OB has had them and spoke very highly of them. The Rugged Terrains may work just fine on a Yukon.
I am running a Goodyear now that got horrible reviews from Ford owners but great reviews from Honda owners, not sure why that is. I have been very happy with them on my Honda. They are strictly a highway tire though.

I haven't bought online in a while, found the prices to be comparable to just buying local

used to be way cheaper online though

to hell with michelin. they may ride nice but that can blow me. My wife's michelin tires never makes it to warranty mileage

Have to disagree. My FIL, MIL and my wife's vehicles all have Michelins currently and will go well beyond their respective warranties.
FIL has a tundra, MIL a Camry and my wife a 4 runner.
Regular rotations and proper airing...
3 different vehicles, weights and tire sizes. Pretty decent sample to look at considering its a personal experience

I wish my wife kept a vehicle long enough to change the tires

I have the Cooper Discoverer AT3's on my F-150. Great tire. The desired look, the desired road performance, reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

I got my AT3's from Skidmarks in BR for $1100. That includes tires, mount and balance, road hazard ins., and tax. I've heard of people getting them for way less with the rebates too. I love mine so far.

ETA: And they are 275/60/20's which is a 33" tire. They are 4 ply though, largest 4 ply they make in the AT3's IIRC.

I wouldn't think you'd want 8 or 10 ply anyway unless you have a 3/4 ton. Ride quality heavier duty tires on a half ton is shite. I had some briefly on my F150. Rode like a damn tractor.

My truck is a lot lighter than yours too though. Plus I had MTs that were already worn down a good bit. It was the loud as frick and rough. Plus they didn't grip worth a shite on the road, I went sliding a few times, never getting MTs again.

I'm probably gonna get some off brand cheap shite 33's for my next set, unless the destinations can make it to 60K. My truck eats tires. 3" spacer is no bueno.

I just don't have a need for anything more than a 4 ply. All I do is tow a boat maybe once a year, if that. I don't really go off-road either. So, that being the case, I don't need a tire that requires 50+ psi and kills fuel mileage and costs more.

Mine have 85psi in them and it's like driving a log truck across corn rows when it's empty.

C range 6 ply tires are plenty for most people.

That could be what mine are. I just know it's not more than 8 ply...suits my needs just fine.

Most truck tires are D-rated which is 8-ply most of the time. These are the tires marked LT. 10-ply, or E rated tires are for 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks.
