Win over UF could change the tone here....

That would put us at 5-2 with UK coming in. Beat UF, UK is a win...6-2 . Split the last 4 and you're 8-4. Not bad with so many puppies out there.

Splitting the last 4 you say it as if thats a no brainer. Winning one of those is a tall order....and obviously you havent watched Kentucky play this season ifyou count them as a guaranteed win.

UK is most certainly not a gimme win this year. They are playing well over their talent level in Lexington.
I would say if we go .500 from today on, it would be a win. We realistically could lose every single game left.

If we beat UF it will be a big deal.
If we smash UF, which I think is at least an outside possibility, it really opens some eyes. All this team needs is a little confidence and Mo.

UK is starting to mesh well, they are a different team than they were when they played Florida.
UK will be a really tough game for the tigers.

I think the op's point is that a win at Florida could help restore the confidence this team will need to defeat a very good UK team.

We need a hell of a lot more than that, such as much better DL play, much better LB play, much better OL play, much better QB play, and much better coaching.
That's a wee bit more than a little confidence and momentum will fix.
