How many rounds do you normally fire off at the range?

sighted in new 6.8 this past weekend, fired 30rds - 10 to sight in and a full box with the ammo I am hunting with to make sure nothing moved.

I usually bring 2-4 weapons. Load up 3-4 mags each and bring an extra box of ammo for each. Whatever's the most fun to shoot that day I keep shooting till I'm out or it's no longer fun.

now to get to the 1 shot might take a few more. but I like to stop at the range at the camp and pop one off every now and then to make sure nothing has changed. I also might make small adjustments to have the first shot dead on.

My last range visit was

500rds of 22
100rds of 10mm

I've gone thru 1000rds of 22 on several occasions.

i can't stand to be on an indoor range, so usually no more than 100 rds. on private property, then between 300-500 or so depending on what I'm shooting

Depends on what Im doing. I have slowed down shooting my AR and pistols a ton.

I am favoring my bolt gun and my CZ 22 right now for some reason.

So, if I dont bring the AR or pistols, its really only like 15 rounds of 260 through a chrono to collect weather data and speeds. And then I spend the rest of the time shooting the 22 for fun.
