Wife lost the diamond on her ring last night. Could be in her car, the garage, just about anywhere in our home, or the dog's stomach. I've heard they glow under a black light. Any truth to that? TIA.

The ring is insured, but it's going to be tough to find a diamond with the shine of the original, as well as the obvious attachment.

Walk bare foot throw down baby powder and sweep it up. But if you had it appraised and insured, which is always prudent, you can have it replaced.

Turn the lights off and search with a flashlight. The diamond should reflect the light back into your eyes.

I really just want to find it so that I do not step on it and end up with a giant gash in my foot. I'll probably discard it after locating it.

Find a single women in her late 30s. They seem to be able to seek out diamonds with precision.

nah, that's body fluids. You should try it at the hotel next time you go out of town.

Put a new bag in the vacuum or empty the shop vac, vacuum whole house, check bag
