Just the standard superhero plot point. They don't want to endanger her. Same thing with Arrow taking 10 years to tell his sister he has been saving lives and not ditching her.
but holy crap was the payoff amazing!

Iris is slowly moving into the "Laurel" territory where she is starting to get on everyone's nerves, yet she is destined to end up with the Lead hero, so everyone will bitch about her for seasons to come.

I agree. All Wells had to say is something simple implying that Stein won't remember any of it and the plot hole would have been closed.
It's awesome that just when we are back thinking that Wells may be good after all, the writers drop another bomb on us.

Sure there's a chance...sure there is.

Ya know, I've been trying to catch up on Arrow on Netflix - I just never watched it. I know some people love it here, but I find it incredibly boring at times.
Now, this Flash show is fantastic. Love it. While you can tell they have a long-run story going on, the pace is fantastic. They have a story to tell, and dammit, they are telling it.

The preview for the March 17th episode got me bulging.

How far have you gotten? If you are still on Season 1, then give the end of that season and season 2 a chance before you judge it.

Yeah, season 1 is tough to watch - I'm wanting the season to end already. At this point I'm kinda wishing this was a cable show, with 12-15 quality episodes and not 23.

It amazes me how different everyone is, I loved season 1 of Arrow
But my taste and everyone else's is probably different since I hated Seinfield

Season 1 didn't kick in for me until episode 13

I liked season 1 also, even the first half of the season which most people complain about. But I will say that it did pick up once they started getting into the "meat" of the undertaking. And I thought the season 1 finale was better than the season 2 finale.

Really like this show even though I have zero knowledge of the comic source material. Is Wells in the comic? I like the Snapish angle of Wells not knowing if he's good or bad.
Also why do some Metahumans need tech to realize their powers and some like the Flash don't.

Not sure about it but I'm glad they did it. It'll make it easier and more believable for Oliver to defeat them

There isn't currently a Dr. Wells in the comics. But there have been several Reverse Flashes over the years, and Dr. Wells could just be an alias for one of those Reverse Flashes.

Metahumans would only need tech to "stabilize" their power (like the device that Firestorm uses on the show). Someone like Captain Cold (who uses a freeze gun) on the show wouldn't be considered a true metahuman.
