Lovers whine about the other guy.

Winners blaze their own trail.

You are one frequently misspelling motherfricker and there are vast gaps of information not presented.

Apart from that great post and thread.

Love when people like to talk about our success in the past.

Hey it was awesome and I loved it. Dont get me wrong.

But its already happened. You cant go back and just dwell on what has already happened.

Its about the present time and the future, not the past.

If we are going back to 2004 then Auburn, if 2003 then I keep us.

Auburn has 3 SEC Titles since 2004 and 1 NC and another appearance. Also had that undefeated season in 2004.

We have 2 SEC titles and another SEC appearance and 1 NC and another appearance.

Although we have been consistently winning since 2004 while they have had some bad seasons. I think since 2000 I wouldn't take any of those, and only brought up Auburn for arguments sake.

Not many teams have won two national championships, & very few have had two in the past decade. This, along with one of the best seasons in college football history (2011), has spoiled the fan base. The majority are having a hard time grasping the concept that it is near impossible to sustain the level of success that we have become accustomed to.

About 350 miles to the Northeast. You can make their home games with a quick Friday night or Saturday morning drive.

Well miles won't be here for 10 more years. You guys will probably have had two more head coaches to bash. So you have nothing to worry about.

LSU will be lucky to go 6-6 this year so the pumpers have serious work to do. They will throw out all the stats that support their hero and stick their head in the sand when legitimate concerns arise about the current state of the program. You know the one that could possibly go 0-8 in the sec with some serious beat downs.

They will continue with "we are young" & "the NFL raped us" blah blah blah. Meanwhile Tennessee is playing more true freshmen than we are and are actually competitive. They don't want to see the writing on the wall.

I know. I'd like to blame it on the fact that I was typing on an I-pad sitting on a front porch swing. But I'd probably have made those mistakes anyway.

No, there is plenty to worry about in the interim.

Auburn is in a diff situation though. We are also counting Les tenure which is why I assume 04 is left out. Auburn didn't just blow the whole thing up. They hired a coach that was the oc for 3 years only taking 1 year off. His players he recruited were still there. His offensive system was still there. It was clear chizik didn't make that team seeing they went 3-9 as soon as Gus left.
