Great Episode.
I think the reason Haqqani is storming the embassy, is this will be his crown jewel.
He will hold hostage the entire US embassy and he doesn't really care about his escape plan.
We'll see. Two very solid episodes strung together.
I don't think Carrie and Saul were in that car.

One thing about this show is that it regularly blows shite up in a big way at unexpected times. It'll be interesting to see how they get out of it.

what ive learned is terrorists have amazing timing with their detonations. they knew exactly when Saul was comfortable enough to finally talk to his wife and BOOM! these guys nail it every time.

It looked like Carrie and Saul's vehicle wasn't hit, which leads to the question of why not hit all of them. Did they intend to not hit their vehicle and do they have other plans for them.
As for the embassy, I think it will be too late to call back the Marines. Quinn is about to go all Jack Bauer on the terrorists, probably not before Lockhart and the ambassador's husband bite it though.
