if i am understanding this, Dar Adal is spearheading a conspiracy to get the CIA Director removed? Cool plot twist, which was primed weeks ago, but too far fetched with the killing of innocents

the part where carrie went to kill haqqani was stupid as frick. looks like dar adal is the guy feeding the info both ways

They are implying Dar is a traitor
It will turn out that Dar was sent to negotiate with Haqqani to stabilize the tribal areas after the released prisoners are back in power of their areas. Adal was sent to repair the damage done by the Americans in the Embassy and the CIA. Adal deals directly with Haqqani and cuts the Pakis out. Haqqani sure acts like a King so make him a king and screw the pakis in the process

A couple of ways this could work out:
1. Dar Adal is a traitor. I don't buy this one.
2. Haqqani is a CIA-type plant that will be an asset in the Taliban or in Pakistan, similar to how they flipped Iran in Season 3. The Embassy attack was part of the plan and a "sacrifice" for the larger mission.
3. Dar Adal is there to kill Haqqani. Remember, he trained Quinn, so he's a bad arse as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Khan is involved to eliminate Haqqani as well in exchange for return to the US.
It might be a rogue mission between Dar Adal, Saul or a few others. Dar hates the direction the CIA is going and as a bonus, they can get Lockhart out and Saul back in as director.
I can't wait until the season finale.

Doubtful. We already played the Brody (and to a lesser extent the ambassador's husband) traitor game, and I don't see another character getting that treatment. Especially Dar

I think this is the most likely. Remember that Haqqani is a Taliban type fighting to get the Americans out of Afghanistan. Not a hardcore islamist wanting to strike at the neck of the infidels.

Doubtful. Dar seems to be the puppet master and not the trigger man. I think they are setting us up for a Dar/Quinn reunion involving Haqqani.

Lockhart is on his way out anyway so I don't see how it would really matter.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays.
It's interesting that Saul was abducted and now Dar is getting close with his abductor. It would make sense that Dar got involved around that time.

I'll go with the odds on this one. F. Murray Abraham is to rats as Sean Bean is to characters who are killed. He's probably the answer to all the outstanding loose ends from previous seasons.
