To learn how to win. It's good that Miles is playing so many true freshman this year. It means we are going to be even that much stronger in a few years when these guys mature and have been humbled by the experience. High school to college is a tough transition to make.

Expect this team to be a real NC threat in the near future. There are a ton of future NFL stars on this team (dupre, fournette, adams). Too much talent for us to not make the playoffs before they leave.

What is the basis of the above assumption? I'm curious.

No problem there but he has to let them play. What is the point in calling toss dive when you are behind big in the 1rst half. The only way to learn is to let them try different things.

Even if we DO have all the talent you claim, Miles and this staff aren't good enough to squeeze everything from it....that's the big difference between Saban and Les......

Everyone needs to move on from the Saban talk. He's not the only really good coach in the division anymore. The West is loaded with top talent and good coaching. It seems to me LSU is behind in the west on both accounts this year at least. The problem with saying that we have young studs is that we don't know. There's no way of knowing if these guys will ever be at the level we think they will be. And in the end this year is the fault of miles for not recruiting enough talent to restock after losing guys. You can have down years, but having a team this bad is inexcusable.

Losing can reach you a lot, but you don't HAVE to lose to get better. If that were the case, ULL would be getting ready to win 16 national championships.

So FSU lost last year? They must have because they needed to learn how to win.

The talent is there. The kind of coaching to bring them up to the level of SEC West prime time play is not there. Kind of like having Swiss cheese that is all holes and no cheese.

That one has been denied entrance into The Cliché Hall of Fame.

We can agree this class is pretty stellar.

The young guys you mentioned may end up being great players but without winning or even breaking even on the LOS, it will not matter much.
