Is it possible that the coaches know more than we do?

Of course, that's impossible, because this is The Rant and The Rant knows all, but…Everyone complained about the offense we ran with Jennings since day 1, but everyone has openly criticized his inability to throw short to immediate passes, screens, etc. Then we saw Harris come in against Miss. St. and NMS and run what looked like a different offense. The coaches obviously didn't suddenly change their coaching philosophy - they simply catered the offense to what their quarterbacks were capable of. But then Harris got the start against Auburn and started running the "Jennings offense." I, like everyone else, was screaming at the television to throw the damn ball. Then he throws that bomb to Malachi and I, along with everyone else, was yelling, "You see!!!" Then Harris proceeded to miss practically every other throw - even the short, simple ones. Is it possible that the coaches saw this all week in practice, or even in warm ups before the game and that's why they limited him initially? Is it possible they've been seeing things like this from him all season in practice and wherever we're not there to see it, and that's why Jennings was starting all this time? These are the same coaches that ran an offense with Mett that gave us a 3K yard passer, a 1K yard rusher, and two 1K yard receivers. They see things that we don't have the opportunity to witness. They know what their quarterbacks are capable of. They want to win as much as we do. You will see the offense you want to see when our players are capable of executing it. Be patient and let these freshmen develop.

Please stop with all this logic stuff. It ruins the emotional roller-coaster ride the Ranters want to be on.

Absolutely. In theory. But the evidence suggests otherwise.

You would have a point if it was just fans but it isn't. So all the bullshite you pointed out is nullified.

The coaches are supposed to know more than some guy on the rant.

But I expect our coaches to know more than Freeze', Mullen, Malzahn, etc. especially a coach who has been here ten years and those three guys inherited crap.

LSU fans have no blame in miles' inept offenses. That's his fault. The end. I don't know more than him. But I know what I'm watching is garbage.

Counterpoint: The offense has sucked almost universally under Miles. The offense last year was one of the best in school history, and had NFL talent at WR1, WR2, RB, and possibly QB, and finished 6th in the SEC in scoring offense. I'd call that underachieving.

Is it possible that the complete lack of a coherent game plan cost the team any chance of success? Is it also possible that a coach can become so conservative that he prohibits his team from winning?

You really expect anyone to take Les serious when concerning the QB situation?

The question is why is Harris running the bullshite offense Jennings ran and not the two minute drill style he ran that worked at the end of the MSU game.
