I mostly saltwater fish, but are any freshwater fish bighting right now? I want to go check something out tomorrow around bayou black and would like to fish a little. Just wondering if it would be a waste of time

I heard of a few bass being caught out of bayou black but that's all I've heard. I'm heading offshore tonight and I'll be back in a few days. when I get back, I'll get with you and we can try to head to clovelly or find some reds one night with your boat.

With the cold front, the bass should start biting. I'd maybe wait a day or two, as these bluebird days after a front are usually the worst.

Caught 7 bass and a red yesterday. All on small spinner baits and chatter baits. Nothing big. Perfect frying size though. Wind was tough and the lilies where blocking a prime spot!
