It's like the season is about to start again.

It's pretty inspiring how the collective attitude of LSU fandom has rebounded since the depths that followed the State debacle.
No flame at all. It's refreshing.
It may be my child like optimism. Or perhaps it's the hopeful attitude of those around me. But it really feels like the season is about to begin again.

Agree, very excited about the game now, hoping the future studs have their national coming out party in an upset road win

For some reason the Marley is more relaxing the Zeppelin is bluesier and the Bassnectar is sweeter.

Agreed. I like this team with BH under center. I know he'll take some licks this weekend, but there is a noticeable uptick in enthusiasm from the team when he's in.

Feel the same. Except for, um...a lingering issue in the center of the defense, it feels like for the first time this season LSU is coming to the table with the best weapons in play. Win or lose we've got the pieces in place...and I can live with that.

We will find something to complain about soon enough.

love the post bro! Hell yea man, I feel like the defense could feed off of the offense a bit. If we cant be a power defense, be an opportunistic defense, bend dont break and look to get turnovers... like ive said, Beckwith is the key to this defense, let that man play!!!

I'll feel much better if/when 52 takes the field for the first defensive series...

So excited to see Harris do his thing!

It's not that "refreshing or inspiring". It is just a reminder of how ridiculous and bipolar our fanbase is. They are now placing unrealistic expectations on a freshman quarterback. They will shite on Harris as soon as they can.

Prediction: someone will start a thread asserting Harris does not put enough air under his throws before seasons end.
Fournette will also, at times need to learn to bounce to the outside, or run more north-south.

It should be that way for every game...come out pumped whether it be the players, coaches or fans.

Maybe.

No "they" won't. "They" never shat on Jennings. "They" just recognized that Harris was a better fit for the QB role on this team than Jennings before Miles was willing to make the switch. You are conflating fan Les Miles frustration with shitting upon the QB on the field.
The fans love Jennings and his commitment the team. The fans just hate not playing the best player(s).

I am very pumped for this game. Excited what Harris is capable of doing with a full game of work. Excited about seeing if the defense can turn it up a notch.

I have noticed that a lot of posters on this board would rather be "right" than "happy". Book it...if Harris looks bad, it will be on Les, the playcalling, etc.

We still have our issues, no doubt, but it is fun to think that we might be able to win a shootout if the game goes that way. Other teams do it without apology. Also, I realize that things may not go our way on the Plains, but I love how much young talent is seeing the field and getting better. Are we building for a run next season or do the young guns skip a step by taking down Auburn at Jordan-Hare? I'm ready to see.

Totally agree....we got our shite pushed in which lead to some clarity.
We have new pieces on the board which should help us score points.
I'm optimistic that we'll get a "quality" win in JH this weekend!!!

You're full of it dude. If anything, no one should expect BH to set the world on fire, given the circumstances surrounding his first start.
Lighten up!
