Yeah that's rough, but I would rather that then 3 Dems who don't believe in economics.

At least the Neanderthals are more economically literate than the other viable alternative.

Despite my agreement that many of the candidates will likely be dimwitted, your general smugness and condescending tone implies that you believe that you are much smarter than you actually are.

I dub this diagnosis "Internet Poster Ego-itis".

Definition: The inflation and inflammation of a random individual's ego and intelligence on an online forum.

Yeah, because only intelligent people believe in evolution.

What does one's belief about evolution have to do with being President? Are you really that dumb to use that as a criteria for voting?

I am willing to bet there are Republican candidates that believe in it, although they wouldn't so something as stupid as ever say it in a debate or out loud for that matter.

There is probably 70 other things you should listen to them debate about before wondering what their stance on evolution is.

You have to understand, many individuals latch onto certain words with the belief that, by throwing them around in public, they will be viewed as more intelligent than they actually are.

It is the basis for the smug characterization that fits many of these individuals.

"Science, evolution, etc.," are all examples. People use them with very little understanding of what they are actually saying.
