I might try that and just deal with it. The mobile site is kind of dumb on this big screen.

Now, my next task is to get back another legacy iPhone thing I miss -- badge icons. For email, I like being able to see a number of unread messages in the corner of the app icon. Or whether it's my turn in wordchums or whatever game my nephews are playing that week.

Appears to be doable with the use of Tasker and Zooper.

Yeah there's plenty of options for that. I use Nova Launcher and it has custom badges you can make, size, circle to square ratio, background color, number color, etc. But it's pay as well.

Absolutely loving this phone though, even more than how much I loved my N5, not even close really.

After calibrating my battery yesterday, I took it off the charger today at about noon, with 3 hours screen on time today (mostly TD mobile and Twitter and a couple YouTube vlogs I watch on WiFi) it's now 5:30am and I'm at 44% remaining and an approx 10 hours left it says.

Normally probably have 4-5 hours screen on time and similar use but didn't use it a ton watching the games today/tonight.

Still, fantastic.

Going to leave it off the charger as I go to bed and run it until it dies just to see, probably won't wake up until noon or so though so we'll see how long into the night she makes it.

Also, ILikeLSU download the Chrome Beta off the store, I haven't ran into the ghost typing on it at all. Try it.

Like hog said, just upgrade to nova prime. It has customizable badge notifications. Plus, prime has a ton of other features like customizable gestures and more.

I got Nova prime. Is there a way I can still swipe to the right to see my Google Now cards/news and shite? I actually liked that but it seems to have disappeared with Nova.

Unfortunately, that goes away using Nova. Have to swipe from the bottom, or you could add a gesture for it.

Swipe from the bottom? Doesnt do anything, and I tried to add a gesture for google now launcher and it's basically telling me I can choose Nova or Google now... What am I doing wrong

EDIT: Nevermind, needed to set it to launch Google, not "Google Now Launcher."

Cool, now Nova launcher is nearly perfect..

I also just decrypted my phone. Things are noticeably snappier. For instance, before, pressing the home button to go from an app to Nova Launcher sometimes had a bit of lag for Nova Launcher to load, but not anymore.

Swipe up starting on one of the soft keys, should open Google Now. If you want to use a gesture, select the Google app...not Google Now Launcher.

Just flashed and setup ViPER, the speakers are really alive now. Glad they got it up working quick.

Google needs to figure out a good way to release the next Nexus. I really want to get this phone but don't really want an ATT one. Heck I probably couldn't even get one of those at this point

I went the AT&T route and didn't really care. Peeled the back sticker off easily and instantly rooted it so there is literally zero difference between my device and a Play Store one.

Curious. Does the ATT variant have Qi wireless charging?

Just have to go into a file explorer and rename/delete it.

Well, the G3 for ATT came with PMA. So theres that. You sure QI? If so, I'll post the center console mod to get Qi wireless charging in the gmc sierra/chevy silverado.
