This thread is making me want to play with a nexus phone. I am having some serious nexus-envy.

Google Now reminders

Took me a minute to even see wtf Google now is. Apparently it's integrated into the phone. I was looking for an app

But then I was like, "OK Google, remind me on December 11 that my son has an appointment." Confirm, done. Just like Siri.

Now, I need to do something about this stock keyboard. Swift for free or Swype for a dollar?

This. I tried to use Google keyboard for a couple of days, just because it's so damn pretty, but had to go back to SwiftKey. The predictions are just unmatched. I'm digging the Minimal Dark Material theme, too.

Really happy with the battery life after the first full day (knock on wood). 5.5 hrs SOT with 20% left. Mostly WiFi, but absolutely kills my N4 in the same scenario.

That doesn't leave many hours in the day for non-phone activities.

Yeah, pretty sad. I have some vacation to burn, so I took today off to dick with my phone.

Negative. AdAway is the only root app I'm using at the moment. I haven't unencrypted yet, either.

Smart man. Best Qi charger on the market. Great bedside charger with the tilted feature. Its charging is superior. Love mine.

I'm currently working on a console mod in my Sierra stealthing a nokia wireless charger under the center console armpad cutout.

It appears that none of the usual "hide-your-unauthorized-tethering" apps are working for Android L yet.

Have any of you guys installed ESPN SportsCenter app?

It says not compatible with your device, for me. Wtf.

I have ESPN Insider access so it makes it easier to read the premium content for teams as it pops up in the app, but it says not compatible with your device and I just had my buddy try it, same thing.

I'm guessing it's detecting the N6 as a tablet or something idk.

Haven't tried that one, but I've encountered it in a few other random apps that I tried to install. Are developers typically this slow in updating to support new versions of Android, or is it because L is a complete redesign?

It's the DPI of the 6" screen, not L.

Just have to install them manually and they work just the same.

Rockin' this for awhile.

Charge your phone

I'm running mine down to 0. 29% now, been over 24 hours since I unplugged. 6hr screen on time.
