It's so ridiculous when players talk smack like this -- like this guy had anything to do with Texas' past success.
Texas hasn't won the Big 12 since Obama's first year in office, and hasn't had a Heisman winner since Ricky Williams in 1998. Baylor has done both in the past 3 years.

Not as bad as Steve Edmond, Texas LB, who called Baylor trash over the summer and still doesn't understand how we beat them last year.

Although I guess I can't blame him for having a "winner's/competitor's" attitude and still believing in his team. But at some point you have to realize your team isn't good enough to be making asinine comments like that in public.

Still a shitty football team? Is that what he means? Its been just a little too long since Texas has been any good to be saying that kind of thing. Ironically, that attitude is why they have been irrelevant as long as they have.
