My customer in Pineville told to have a good weekend.

Anywho, swung by Lafayette Whole Foods to see if it really does have a bar, and it does!

No beer for me today.

Been pounding beam and 7 at Maes since halftime of the game. It's the end of an era, but damn the ride was fun.

Yea that was hard to watch if you are a Saints fan.
But
I've been a Saints fan for 30+ years, so like many others I know what it's like.

For those in Lafayette or looking to every stop by the WF for a beer, here is their list that seems to be updated daily when changes are made. At least for now.

Tin Roof Turnrow

From the website,

quote:

Harvest Ale brewed with fresh ground coriander.
Turnrow’s light straw color and low bitterness make it the perfect compliment to the warm, early Fall days and traditions in the South.
The coriander provides just the right amount of citrus spice to balance this refreshing brew.

The bar tender just told me they are changing the taps almost daily because they're running out so fast!
She literally just tapped a Lazy Magnolia Pecan keg, that "got here an hour ago"

That link doesn't work for me.

I love places that keep their tap lists online and up to date. The places that have a digital board are the best. I usually only have one, and I check the taplists to decide where I'm going for that one beer. Most places that I go to rotate all of their taps, so you can't assume they will have any particular beer...

FBD - Night Owl by Elysian. I normally don't drink a lot of pumpkin beers, but I like this one.

What is 'Legendary Gator'
Says it's 10.25% abv and IBU of 25 for only 4 bucks?

I can't do it, I have to go.
Is it just AndyGator.

Good!

I'm sure it'll slow down once the newness wears off though

Updated the link Jax.
ETA: According to WF tap hunter, Oskar Blues Old Chub is on Deck! If this is true then WF is already making Lafayette a million percent better in the craft beer game!

Do they charge a different price for each beer, or do they have a one or two tier price structure. Asking because the price structure can prevent them from bringing in seasonal and BA stuff...

Oskar Blues debuting in LA?

Not sure on price structure. I think everything was either $5 or $6 from what I remember. But that was all local taps and nothing special. I'll go swing by maybe tomorrow or Wednesday to check out the new taps.

I don't know what the Oskar Blues came from but it says it's On Deck as one of the next kegs. Could be a mistake though

F&SBD were Fat Tires in Pville.

Now waiting in fricking harahan for a cab with a $1k repair bill for the Jeep looming.

Going to need lots of beer tonight...maybe bourbon.

Bombed out a decent amount of my front differential. Need a new ring and pinon. Possibly a whole new front axle if it is worst case.
Basically was going 70mph and felt like I ran over an elephant followed by the front wheels locking up. They broke free when the ring busted.

TBD - Sinister Minister, gonna need something stronger.
