And that's the only ranked team they play. Typical osu schedule. They would finish in the middle of the SEC each year, but yet they usually have high rankings.

It's not really their fault the B1G sucks right now...

It is pretty telling that their only OOC game against a P5 team was against Virginia Tech, who dominated them from the start, and VT looks pretty terrible this year.

Don't really think it matters. If they continue to win they will hover around the 15-20 mark in the rankings unless they beat MSU which may squeak them into the top 10. Even if they win out and win the B1G championship game they won't be considered for the playoffs.

You want to explain Indiana's win over Mizzou then...a team that just beat Carolina? It happens.

The Buckeyes are not good but their O is getting better every week as Barrett gets more reps. Their pass D is horrific though. A hot mess.

Because they start out ranked every year in the top 10 and don't deserve it. They never beat anyone or play anyone decent. It's been this way since 2007.

With Braxton this year, they are top 10 easily. Without him, they are not. They are ranked #20 with no chance to make it into the playoffs, so who gives a shite?

Still waiting to hear how Indiana could beat Mizzou though. If you can't beat Mizzou, you shouldn't be in the discussion for the title either.

BG > Indiana > Mizzou > SC > Georgia

BG should get into the playoffs before Georgia

Exactly my point. Indiana is a B1G bottom dweller that lost to BG but still managed to beat Mizzou, who beat SC, who beat Georgia. How is this possible?

Gotta love the transitive property in sports...

In all seriousness, why is this even a topic? Ohio State is ranked No. 20 right now. That's about where they should be without a Braxton Miller.

SEC fans love transitive property when it benefits them, when it doesn't, they flip their shite. That was my point in the post.

But I agree, ohio state is where they should be. Folks should eat it up, because they are going to be loaded next year.

Exactly. Although I do love JT Barrett's progress, tOSU is far from being in consideration for the playoff. Not...even...close.

To be fair, I not a single team has stood out so far in the playoff race. It's wide open.
