What are my options?

She showed the trooper her insurance card and was not ticketed for no insurance.
However, her insurance refuses to repair my car, because her policy was under cancellation for non-payment at the time of the accident.

Talk with your insurance agent, this isn't the first time they've had to deal with this situation.

Call the cop and tell him, but your insurance gonna have to get em. Hope you have uninsured motorist coverage.

Eta, you'll probably be getting something in the mail from the Cochran firm also. Just FYI.

Did you have coverage for uninsured motorists? Your insurance company will pay for it then sue her.

As far as you suing her for anything else, good luck. She probably doesn't own shite, and the best you will do is get a judgement on her. The cost out of pocket of doing so, when you may never see a dime, likely isn't worth it though.

Call your insurance and let them handle it. If you got good insurance they will take care of it. If they don't time for you to lawyer up.

If you have UM, then notify your insurer. If not, assert claim against his insurer anyway. (Could be coverage...erroneous cancellation or something....). Anyway, this is why you need U.M.

Find out where she lives and take a baseball bat to her car every few months until she realizes how trashy she is for not maintaining insurance.
