Les Miles knows Harris is the guy for the job. He was hoping the competition was close enough so he could keep AJ as starter and bring in Harris as needed. Because he is down to only two QBs, he can not afford to lose one. Now that Harris has clearly separated himself, Miles may worry about AJ's motivation to stay as backup QB (AJ's eligibility expires before Harris is a senior). I believe miles still prefers to consider AJ a starter even if Harris plays 90% of the game or at least not put too much emphasis on word "starter" . I personally think Harris should have played a lot more in all previous games.

There is no problem. Harris earned the right to start. If down the line Jennings comes on and outplays Harris, then he should play. Having said that it is obvious who the superior athlete is.

common dilemma. as far as one of the guys transferring it happens all the time and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it. we need both of these guys. yea, it looks clear right now that harris is the guy but things change quickly sometimes in football, esp at this time in a person's life.

His only dilemma is to explain why he was so boneheaded in not starting Brandon Harris last night or WHY he didn't play him much at all against SHS and ULM. Imagine how much farther along he'd be if he'd had significant playing time in both of those warm up games.

I'm glad we have a coach with this dilemma. Better than being stuck with Jennings alone.

I am just saying what his concerns may be as a coach, there is no question that LSU offense operates at a different level with Harris and Harris is just a better talent and athlete.

Think about the flip side of this. Perhaps without starting despite earning the right via performance, Harris might consider leaving. Whoever plays the best should start; right now that is Harris. No disrespect to Jennings; remember the Arkansas win.

Not try to be mean by saying this, but Kragthorpe or whatever his name is, looked as good or better than Jennings. No turnovers.

Miles 'play with words' schtick isn't going to work anymore with Tiger fans. Most people see through his BS now, even though it's taken 4 years too long for most people to get it.

Just fricking play BH and be done with it, and sit Welters arse down while you're at it.

Then what's the dilemma? The only dilemma I see is having a Head Coach that thinks in corkscrews instead of straight lines.

So what your saying is, LSU isn't planning on recruiting another QB between now & BH's senior year? I'm pretty sure they've got a couple of QB's on the ole recruiting radar. And if one true freshman can come in & seperate themselves from AJ, I'm pretty sure another recruit can too.

AJ has been given more than a chance to win the starting role. When you lose the starting job, you work your butt off and wait for your chance to win it back, knowing you're only a poor performance or injury away from getting it. If anything, BH would be more likely to leave for not getting the fair shot that he's clearly earned.

The real dilemma is Ole Lesticles was planning on saving BH for the Bama game.
