Not just on the long run but on a couple of other times when they put their running QB in, it looked like the middle of the field was wide open with our LBs spread out too far to the outside. It looked like the same prob we had with Prescott and with us playing Marshall this week, seems like an adjustment to our alignment needs to be made.

I've always backed Chavis as he knows light years more than I, but I cannot ignore Welters issues. I do acknowledge our DTs could be exacerbating the issues as well.

On the long TD run by the QB, it looked like Welter just ran into the back of the DL and the QB ran right by him. It's frustrating to watch.

Its not the whole defense that is struggling with the QB up the middle. Its one player - the starting MLB.
