What's the deal? What a random tweet it seems

@AdamSchefter: A quarter way through season, the Lions are preparing to lose free-agent-to-be DT Ndamukong Suh and he is preparing to move on, per sources.

Come to Houston. Screw the offense, and I don't care that he's a 4-3 DT. Clowney, Watt, and Suh.

Saw earlier that the Jets are about $20 million under the cap.

Two predictions. One of them is true:

1. Signs with Washington or Oakland for a mint and is never heard from again and is out of the NFL in 2 years.

2. Signs a 1 year, $2 million deal with the Patriots and becomes NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

You'd think he would at least want to test the market. The second contract is his best chance to cash in.

Lions have made him restructure multiple times already. Can't blame him given what Watt got.

If they franchise tag him, it's $27m. Yep. Plus $9m in dead money they shifted around from restructuring, if he's on the Lions roster next season, that's $36m against the cap. The Lions have totally botched his deals and they can't afford him if they wanted to.

Pretty obvious that he has to move on.
