They are who they are and I'm not sure we even know who they really are yet. Bottom line is that we spend 8 months waiting for this stuff so regardless of how good or bad LSU is, I intend to enjoy every second of it. I for one am very excited by the possibilities now that all expectations have been sufficiently lowered.

I think I actually enjoy the season MORE when there aren't unrealistic expectations ... with the exception of the incessant whining on this board that is.

At least we're not Penn St.

ETA: I'm really excited to see what Harris can do for the future.

My feelings exactly. Hope the freshman continue to improve throughout the season and hope we can find some D linemen to step up next year as their bodies mature. If we are playing better at the end of the season even if our record doesn't show it, I'll be excited for 2015 and 2016.

Besides Alabama, what other school has consistently dominated over the last 5 years, and Bama lost 2 last year so some will say I am wrong and no team has.

I'd rather lose the fans that build up expectations and then crap on the team when those expectations aren't met, but you're not going anywhere, are you?

This would be a very slow forum if it loss those that "crap on the team", the school, the administration, or whatever.

I think most of the ridiculous BS we see on this site is due to 22 year old kids that know everything.....and have massive knee-jerk itis.....LSU is going to be fine this year. It amazes me the overall knee jerk actions in college football nationally....I mean first Georgia is best team in the SEC, if not the country....then we find out they have a poor secondary and no passing game.....South Carolina is garbage after one bad matchup, now they are ok again....Va Tech is great....nope, now they aren't.....USC...etc...etc....

LSU will be fine and get better and better. The OL might not be playing great...but when you try to block 9 with 6 or 7, it can be tough.

lol.....well I've been reading this board for several months now...and now that I've signed up I wouldn't mind it losing the following:

Mustache, CPL325, Oh Lawd, Northshore, KatyTiger, just to name a few.....

I would like to block the "fans" who don't pay crap into the program. The ones that sit at home and have never paid a TAF fee in their lives and don't have to watch their money blown on a 4 million dollar head coach that is the most stubborn and hardheaded in the conference. Another 2.5million on a defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator that aren't allowed to scheme and play call like they want because of that stubborn head coach. But your right, no one should care that we got humiliated at home, at night, with the biggest crowd in history by a team we haven't lost to in 15 years.
