re: State Wrestling Tourney - Jimmie the Geek
BM lost to Jesuit in a meet in January, when BM wrestled Holy Cross in a meet the coach sat most if not all of his A team and wrestled backups to "save them for state"...HC beat them that night. I guess he was scared to lose straight up and ruin his boys' psyche leading intBM lost to Jesuit i...

re: Assessing the context of this class - LSU v Bama - Jimmie the Geek
I don't think LSU and Orgeron occupy as much space in Saban's head as you think they do.
I disagree. Saban knows first hand that LSU is a sleeping giant that is best kept asleep. If O figures out a way to awaken it, watch out. I promise you that with the exception of Auburn, Alab...

re: St Catherine vs St Francis Xavier in Metry - Jimmie the Geek
You are right but I wasn't saying that in a literal sense. St Ann is on Transcontential which doesn't cross into Harahan but if it did, he would cross it to go to SCS. That is what I was trying to covey. My bad. One of my kids are friends with his so I know where he lives. ...

re: St Catherine vs St Francis Xavier in Metry - Jimmie the Geek
Huh? What does that have to do with what school is better? I would assume they are in position to send their kids to whatever school they want. Why did those mentioned choose SCS? Why does the principle of Jesuit, who does not live in the SCS Parish, send his kids there? I'm not a fan of Jesuit...

re: St Catherine vs St Francis Xavier in Metry - Jimmie the Geek
How so? What I stated are facts. I also did a lot of research before picking SCS and I found they provided the best Catholic education in the area. They don't need to brain wash me when I see the work my kids bring home every day. I recommend the OP do the research. Maybe SCS isn't the right ...

.
St Ann is a good school. Better than SCS.
Based on what? As someone stated previously, elected officials send their kids to SCS. The principle of Jesuit drives past St Ann to send his kids there. St Ann is a good school but people in the know, know what's up. ...

Both my kids go there. SCS by a country mile. If you want your kid to get the best education K-7, do yourself a favor and do the research. No doubt, you will find that SCS will be the best. ...

re: Nice to see TEs had 5 receptions for 85 yds - Jimmie the Geek
Some of those same opportunities were there against Bama, but either pressure from their front 7 or missed throws prevented us from capitalizing. My point is that we spread the ball around to multiple receivers which is much different than when Miles was the coach. ...

re: How much will DeSean Smith factor in against this Bama defense?? - Jimmie the Geek
I'm no coach or have no inside info, but I heard the problem with Smith is his blocking and the risk we take with him in the game if we have to check out of the called play into a play which would require he blocks, esp pass coverage. If it wasn't for that, he'd be in the game much more than he is....

That was always a constant by Miles when we were pinned back by our goal line. Lol! How many scoring drives started inside our 15-20 yard line?...
