SBL usually has like 10 teams competing to win and is more active, thanks to the 8 keepers everyone has a shot
TBDL has 6 or 7 competing, and more teams building bc of more keepers. Not as active as it once was

I will say that there is a chance that I opt out of TDBL if this league gains traction. I really dont want to be in more than three baseball leagues. I just dont have the time for that much commitment anymore.
Dynasty leagues are my favorite type of league, and TDBL would be the only one of the four that isn't that format.

Yup. The rebuilds are a lot shorter as well and we do not have teams as bottom feeders for four years because half their team is in AA. I do not have much interest in the dynasty format, so I am hoping that SBL and any other existing leagues stay alive.

Wasn't SBL a McDavid side project? And yet now it's being argued that it should remain and TDBL should be clipped? I think the perennial bottom feeders should be removed, not the league.

There is no reason at all for TDBL to fold. Its a great league with a great format and firmly established rules.
What it needs is better owners. When the league was started years ago, most of the owners were die-hard fantasy players. Things change, lives change, and interests come and go. I feel like a lot of people in that league are only around because its habit. They don't really actively try to win.
If you want that league to be better, start a come to Jesus talk about everyone's true intentions. Offer them a way out of the league. This board is full of people trying to find leagues to join. It won't be that hard.

I don't know the origins of the league. I came here a lot later than most of you. I do not want anything to fold either. I just like the format of SBL the most, so that is the most important to me.

If I joined this one, I'd be looking to get out of TDBL or HCMDL.
I'm in one other big league and I think three is my limit. Really two should be my limit, but I'm a sucker for fantasy baseball.
