I am looking to purchase the JBL Flip 2 portable speaker. I go to Amazon to buy it but I can't find Amazon as the actual seller.
They have several sellers that are fulfilled by Amazon, but when it comes to electronics, I prefer Amazon to be the actual seller, even if it costs more. Some of these resellers sell old models, counterfeit merchandise, products not intended for US sales etc.
Do y'all trust resellers? Will Amazon protect me in case of a problem?

Yes. I sell on Amazon and the buyer is always right no matter what.

Thanks for the link, but none of those are actually sold by Amazon. The first one is sold by TB Digital. It's fulfilled by Amazon, but I'm looking for Amazon as the actual seller. TB Digital could be selling refurbs, counterfeit, etc. Prefer to deal with Amazon directly.

If you're that concerned, it looks like Best Buy has it for roughly the same price at $99 LINK

Best Buy it will be probably, especially since Amazon charges tax here in TX.

Can confirm this. If you want to frick a business over, complain to Amazon. They take that shite seriously. If they take too long to ship, tell Amazon. Any problems, PLEASE TELL AMAZON.

Went to BEST Buy today after reading this thread and got the JBL Charge for 119.

12 hours of battery life as compared to 5 for Flip 2.

That sucks too. eBay and Amazon don't really give a shite about the seller, other than that he pays his fees on time.

I have been screwed a few times by buyers.

I just slammed one seller on ebay. Sold me a zaag folio keyboard for my ipad mini. Get it and battery won't hold a charge although it will work if plugged in. Bastard said over and over it had no battery. Yeah, even the manual said it did. So I gave negative feedback. Only then did he get religion about a return. Too late for him. Thief.
